Features
CO detection for home and away
Carbon monoxide gas can't be seen or smelled in the air. The only way to detect it is by having working carbon monoxide alarms. Placing carbon monoxide detectors on every floor of your home and in each bedroom, and packing one when traveling, is an important way to help detect this dangerous gas.
Simple, tabletop design
Unlike other CO monitors that are designed to mount on the wall or ceiling, this carbon monoxide alarm is intended to sit on any flat surface. The backlit LED display shows the current room temperature, as well as CO concentrations and peak CO levels when detected. In the event of a CO incident, the alarm also stores the highest CO level detected to help inform emergency responders.
No battery replacements
The First Alert® CO5-B10A Carbon Monoxide Alarm features a built-in 10-year lithium-ion battery so you don't need to worry about replacing batteries or low-battery chirps during the lifetime of the alarm. An end-of-life warning lets you know when the device should be replaced because alarms don't last forever. Test the alarm anytime using the single/test button to ensure the alarm is working properly.
