Carbon monoxide is an invisible, odorless, and deadly gas. Having working carbon monoxide alarms in your home is the only way to detect it. When carbon monoxide is detected, the alarm sounds a loud warning to alert you to the threat.

Simply plug the alarm into any standard electrical outlet on every level and in each bedroom for whole-home detection. In the event of a power outage, the battery backup powers the CO detector so it can continue to monitor your home for dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.
Simple and easy to use
Once the alarm has been installed, remember to test it regularly using the test button and change the batteries at least twice a year. A low‑battery alert will remind you when the batteries need to be replaced, and an end‑of‑life signal will alert you when the carbon monoxide detector has reached the end of its life and it's time to replace it. It’s important to replace your carbon monoxide alarm at least every seven years to help ensure continued detection.
